Betting Rules
These Betting Rules explain the general conditions that apply when you place bets with 7BitCasino. They should be read together with the site's Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Responsible Gaming information and any rules shown for a particular game, sport or market. By placing a bet, you confirm that you understand and accept the rules that apply to that bet.
7BitCasino operates under licence OGL/2023/174/0082 issued by the Curaçao Gaming Authority and licence 0000091 from the Tobique Gaming Commission.
1. General betting conditions
7BitCasino provides betting and gaming services subject to applicable laws, regulatory requirements and the rules displayed on the website. These rules apply to all customers who use the betting services. Additional conditions may apply to specific sports, competitions, events, games, markets, promotions or payment methods. Where a specific rule conflicts with a general rule, the specific rule for that product or market will generally apply.
You are responsible for reading the relevant information before confirming a bet. This includes the event, market, selection, odds, stake, possible return, settlement method and any restrictions or closing times. Information displayed on the website may be updated from time to time. The version available when a bet is accepted will normally be used to assess that bet, subject to correction of obvious errors and any applicable law.
- You must meet all applicable age, identity and location requirements before using the betting services.
- You must provide accurate and current information when opening or using an account.
- You must keep your login details secure and must not allow another person to use your account.
- You must not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering, cheating or any other prohibited purpose.
- You must comply with account, payment, verification and responsible gambling requirements.
- You should only bet with money that you can afford to lose.
Rules may differ between jurisdictions. If online gambling or a particular betting product is not permitted where you are located, you must not use that product. You are responsible for checking the laws that apply to you before placing a bet.
2. Placing and accepting bets
A bet is placed when you select a market or game, enter a stake and follow the instructions to confirm the transaction. Adding a selection to a bet slip does not place a bet. A bet is only accepted when the website confirms acceptance and the transaction is recorded in your account. A confirmation message, bet reference or similar record may be provided for your information.
The information shown on the confirmation screen should be checked carefully before you submit a bet. In particular, check the selection, odds, stake, potential return, bet type and any applicable conditions. Once accepted, a bet generally cannot be changed or cancelled at your request unless the relevant product rules expressly allow it.
A bet may be rejected, delayed, limited, suspended or cancelled where permitted by the applicable rules. This may occur because of technical issues, market suspension, unusual activity, a pricing error, an event change, account restrictions, insufficient funds, verification requirements or legal and regulatory obligations. A bet is not accepted merely because a request has been sent to the website.
Odds, prices and obvious errors
Odds and prices may change before a bet is accepted. The price confirmed at acceptance will generally be used for settlement. If a displayed price or market contains an obvious error, 7BitCasino may correct or void the affected bet in accordance with the applicable rules. An obvious error can include a clearly incorrect price, selection, handicap, total, result or market description. If a correction is possible and permitted, the bet may be settled using the correct price or terms.
Account balance and stakes
You must have sufficient available funds, or an otherwise approved payment arrangement, before a bet can be accepted. Stakes are deducted or reserved in accordance with the account process. You should review your balance and transaction history regularly and report any suspected error promptly. If a transaction appears to have been processed incorrectly, do not rely on an incorrect balance or displayed return while the matter is being reviewed.
3. Events, markets and settlement
Bets are settled using the official result or outcome determined by the relevant governing body, competition organiser, event authority or other recognised source. The settlement rules for the market will determine which result is used and when it is considered final. If the official result is changed after settlement, the bet may be reconsidered where the market rules or applicable requirements allow this.
Each market may have its own rules for postponements, abandonments, interruptions, venue changes, participant withdrawals, substitutions, extra time, penalties, dead heats, disqualifications and other event circumstances. You should read those rules before betting. A market may be settled as void, cancelled or otherwise adjusted where the stated conditions for settlement are not met.
- A postponed or abandoned event may be settled under the specific rules for that sport or market.
- A selection that does not participate may be treated differently depending on the product and bet type.
- A match or event played at a different venue may be treated under the relevant market conditions.
- Extra time, overtime, shoot-outs or other additional periods count only where the market rules say they count.
- A bet involving a cancelled or unavailable market may be voided, while other parts of a multiple bet may remain subject to the applicable rules.
- Where a dead heat or shared result occurs, the relevant dead-heat or equal-result rule may apply.
Settlement may take place automatically after an official outcome is available. There may be a delay while information is checked, particularly where an event is subject to review or where the official result is unclear. You should not assume that a pending bet has won or lost until it has been settled in your account.
Different bet types
Single bets are settled separately. Multiple or combination bets depend on the rules for every selection included in the bet. If one selection is void, the remaining selections may continue under the applicable combination rules. System, each-way, handicap, proposition, live and other specialised bets can have additional conditions. The description shown for the bet type and market should be reviewed before confirmation.
4. Live betting and technical issues
Live or in-play markets are offered while an event is taking place and may be suspended without notice. This can happen when a goal, point, wicket, dismissal, injury, penalty, card or other significant event occurs, or when the live information feed is delayed. A bet submitted during a suspension may not be accepted. If a bet is accepted after an event that should have caused a suspension, the applicable in-play or obvious-error rules may be used.
Live scores, statistics, timers, commentary and visual displays are provided for information and may not be completely accurate or immediate. They do not replace the official result or the market rules. You are responsible for considering the possibility of transmission delays before placing an in-play bet.
A technical failure, communication problem, interruption, software defect or other operational issue may affect a bet, balance or result display. If the website becomes unavailable, use of the betting service should stop until access is restored. Records held in the betting system may be used to determine whether a bet was received and accepted. Where a bet cannot be reliably identified or processed, it may be cancelled or otherwise handled under the applicable terms.
Prohibited conduct
You must not manipulate a market, misuse a technical fault, interfere with the website, use automated tools without permission, exploit confidential information or coordinate activity intended to obtain an unfair advantage. You must also not place bets on behalf of another person or use another person's account. Suspected suspicious or fraudulent activity may be investigated, and transactions or accounts may be restricted where permitted by law.
5. Cancellations, disputes and responsible betting
If you believe a bet has been recorded, settled or displayed incorrectly, review your bet history and contact the site's available support channel through the website. Include the relevant bet reference, date, market and a clear description of the issue, but do not send passwords or other sensitive security information. Disputes are reviewed using account records, transaction data, market rules and available official information.
A transaction may be reversed, adjusted or withheld where required to correct an error, comply with verification or payment obligations, address suspected fraud, or apply the relevant betting rules. Nothing in these rules limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law. If a conflict exists between this page and the full Terms and Conditions, the applicable legal terms and product rules will govern.
Betting should be entertainment, not a way to solve financial problems or recover losses. Set a budget before you play and avoid increasing stakes because of a losing result. Take regular breaks and do not bet when affected by alcohol, stress or other circumstances that may affect your judgement.
- Set personal deposit, spending or session limits where those tools are available.
- Keep track of your bets and the total amount spent, rather than focusing only on possible winnings.
- Do not chase losses or borrow money to gamble.
- Use time-out, self-exclusion or other account controls if betting is no longer enjoyable or manageable.
- Seek independent support if gambling is causing financial, personal or emotional difficulties.
- Contact the website through the available support options if you need help understanding a rule or using a responsible gambling feature.
These Betting Rules are intended as general information and do not replace the complete terms for a particular product. Always check the rules displayed at the time you place a bet, including any event-specific conditions, market notices and responsible gambling requirements.
